Yes, real damascus steel! The pattern on my knife was cool in the pictures, and even better on delivery. Thick steel full tang (probably 1/8”) and pretty heavy duty. Good balance. Nice olive wood handles. Even a leather sheath. Great handmade item for $23 !!!
