my mistake on this one, thought it would fit a hoosier jar, it does not it is to small, but not by much, must fit the slightly smaller jar size, back to the drawing board.

"Hoosier Jar" is a general term used to describe the myriad of jars that were used in countless models of Hoosier Cabinets. Each manufacturer had his own line of jars for his cabinets. While lid manufacturers had some standard sizes, jar manufacturers based their jar neck sizes on the most popular jar lid sizes.
