    Well designed and built with a smooth action at a reasonable price!

    The Benchmade 556 Mini Griptilian is a perfect selection for every day carry. It has all the important features of an EDC knife like ambidextrous thumb studs, movable clip for right or left hand carry, full skeletonized handle liners, thong hole and the famous Axis lock. The new model 556 comes with an upgraded blade made from CPM- S30V steel that holds an edge better than the previous 154-CM steel, yet is still relatively easy to sharpen. Combine these features in one lightweight, compact package and you have a knife that earned the right to ride around in my pocket on a daily basis. This is one of Benchmade's most popular models and for good reasons.

    Great value, quality

    You can’t go wrong with Benchmade I own the full size version of the Griptilian as well but found it a bit big for an EDC .The Mini fits the bill perfectly! I love the S30V steel on a pocket knife as I can keep a good edge on the knife.Feels great in the hand and is easy to deploy.This knife is built like a tank ,I expect many years of use from .

    Best EDC I’ve seen...

    Pro: strong, great latch, easy to sharpen, built really well, fits my hand. Con: clip must have loosened up after 20 years of hard use, I lost it! (JK, but I did lose my original. 😢). Bought a new one one week later...

    Benchmade keeps getting better

    This Mini Griptilian is great. This Mini Griptillian is slightly different from my last because the blade material changed to S30V. The last Mini Griptillian was 154CM. From my research S30V should hold a good edge for longer even thought 154CM held a great edge for a long time. I look forward to owning this Mini Griptillian for a long time.
