Rare and intriguing book, \"c1938 Vintage Webster Composition Book or Homework Book for Analytic Geometry Class.\" It is a ruled notebook with a thick, printed card stock cover, which measures approx. 10-5/8\" x 7\" x 1/4\" (21.4 cm. x 19.8cm. x 3 cm.) And it has 32 pages (not including the cover) and every page is used.

These type of composition books were used by students in the earlier part of the 20th Century for doing homework. All of their work was conveniently in one place for the teacher to check.

This book belonged to David Moyer, and he attended Fleetwood High School, in Fleetwood, Pennsylvania. He was in 11th Grade, Class A, when he used this book. There are 12 photos provided with this sale Listing, so that you can admire Mr. Moyer\'s display of mathematical diagrams and calculations.

We believe that he was born in 1922, and graduated from Fleetwood High School in 1939. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II, and then was employed with Kutztown Foundry and Machine for 49 years. He was an accomplished woodworker and spent many hours in his wood shop creating a variety of fine furniture. He was especially proud of his grandfather clocks, and was also well-known in the community for his beautifully crafted wooden Easter eggs. So it seems that he might have put his Analytic Geometry to good use.

Condition: This amazing book is in very good condition. There is very minor wear on the cover … minor wavering of the paper. the interior pages are also clean, with little to no wear to the corners and edges.
