FYI - \"zipsdm\" are watermarks to protect the photo from digital piracy and not printed onto the actual photographCute photograph of 3 brothers and their younger sister posing with their farm White Leghorns and Buff Orpingtons chickens. Older brother looks like he has some sass, and we can already sympathize with the sister\'s future male suitor because of having three older brothers!
The message on the back reads (they didn\'t punctuate so added dashes for clarity): \"this is our chickens & kids - we have the buff Orpingtons and white leghorns - that is cabbage in the box - they sure eat lots of it - some hen house isn\'t it\"
Message indicates they were pretty proud of their chickens and little hen coop.
Photograph was developed by a company in San Antonio, Texas so it is safe to assume the farm was near San Antonio. Probably taken between 1920-1930.
Great condition with just a little wear around the edges and corners. Still a pretty clear photograph lays flat.
