Inspection at the Cortland Beef out paper on plain mount

Condition:

Warm, medium to rich tonal image shows aging and some soiling, mount shows aging/soiling with loss at top edge from tacking and along edges/corners, beers photograph documenting a government meat inspection at the Cortland Beef Company, Cortland, New York about 1915. The two gents in white coats are the inspectors. The inspector with the derby hat is sniffing a “probe” that came from the ham in front of him. You can see his “badge” on his chest. The crate at the right reads “Cortland Beef Co., Packers, Fancy Sausages, Cortland, N.Y.” The large scale at the back reads “Armour.”
