Extremely RARE Circa 1903 Allan Ship LineNorman WilkinsonIllustrated Postcard. This postcard features an early example of Mr. Wilkinson\'s maritime artwork for which he later became famous along with his train illustrations. The color image and gold gilt framing on the front of the card are both beautifully bright.
The back does not indicate who published this postcard, however, it is quite likely it was printed in Great Britain.This card is in decent condition for its age as it was at one time attached to an album, hence the glue stain on the center back. In addition, there is some staining on both the front and back as well as wear on the edges and corners. Fortunately there are no creases in the card! There is a small amount of pencil writing on the back.
Size is just smaller than 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches.
