Check out this stunning work or art! It is a very unusual interpretation of an Amish diamond quilt. The entire background is a rich, red and coffee checkerboard pattern. It is absolutely beautiful. This one needs to go up on a wall! I believe it to be from circa 1900 or possibly earlier into the 1800s. There is fine, very close hand quilting all over. It measures 63” x 77”. It is entirely hand made and stitched. Please see all pictures. I took pictures of each quadrant, so you could zoom up and nothing is hidden. It is in very good condition with only a few spots and one old mended small tear all pictured. It has not been cleaned. this item comes out of an estate in oklahoma.
