This is an excellent c1870 American Victorian Eastlake frame. Original ebonized surface with incised decoration and lemon gilded inner and outer edges. This form is a bit more unusual with the incised decoration gilded. The frame is in outstanding condition and measures 10 1/8 x 11 1/2 with a 6 3/4 x 8 1/8 rabbet.
