THE PAINTING SHOWS IMPECCABLE DETAIL, TITLED \"THE TEMPI MADONNA\" BY RAPHAEL. A STUNNING RENDITION BY J. DOUILLARD.
THERE IS A LABEL ON BACK FROM \\\" MAISON BOUASSE-LEBEL LICENE E CLe Paris. This company created beautiful and highly detailed religious prayer cards which are now highly collected and some sell for a premium.
It measures approx. 13\"H x 12\" W , painting is approx. 7\"x 5\"THE FRAME SHOWS MINOR AGE RELATED WEAR, SOME EVIDENCE OF AGE, BUT OVER ALL IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE PAINTING IS ON CURVED BOARD, NOT SURE IF BECAUSE OF AGE OR ORIGINAL, THE GLASS WAS ALSO ESPECIALLY MADE IN A SLIGHTLY DOMED DESIGN WHICH LEADS ME TO BELIEVE THAT CURVED BOARD WAS ALSO INTENTIONAL. THE PAINTING SHOWS MINOR SPOTS ON EDGES AND WHAT APPEARS TO BE A VERY SMALL TEAR ON UPPER CORNER. THE FELTS HAS MINOR AGE RELATED WEAR. IT CAN EITHER HANG OR USE ON TABLE WITH EASEL.
