early wooden candle lantern 1700s
1. original not reproduction, not replica
2. very good condition
3. all pegged together
4. small wire loop latch to open door is original and works
5.glass is all original, lots of tiny bubbles and a flaw
6. this has been cleaned,
7. I purchased this from an estate collection here in NH
8. really like the fancy smoke hole in the top, usually there is just a round hole
9. old repair, see photo, the top is cracked and the repair holds the top together
10. snipe hinges, see photo
11. nice original finish, nice patina
