Civil War era Disston No.7. Completely restored by hand (no power tools). Blade is 9-PPI, freshly sharpened for ripping. Minimal set put on it (11-ppi), but glides cleanly and quickly through wood, tracking nice and straight.

Although this would be great for the collector, it will be an excellent user as well. The blade was polished through the grits to 2000, and then buffed out. Etch is strong. Handle is the original beech handle. Original shape kept. Medallion and buttons stand slightly proud, as do the spanner nuts. As seen in the pictures, a very small v shape (~3/16\") was punched out on the toe of the saw at some point in its life. Underneath the handle, 7 is punched, as well as the letter N.

This is a beautiful saw for the right person. Own a piece of history, and then rip something.
