Offered here is a pen tray by Tiffany Studios in the Zodiac pattern. The original patina is referred to as gold dore.
- Stamped Tiffany Studios New York 1000 on one side
- The tray is 10” long an 3 1/4” wide.
- Take a good look at the photos. 120 years ago the finish would be gold dore, which still exists on the bottom. See photo. What happens over decades is that the pen tray is repeatedly scrubbed clean to remove the ink that had stained the tray. What is left is the original bronze pen tray.
