Description:This listing is for a very interesting vintage/antique handmade hanging basket.

Basket is boat shaped and has two metal loops - one smaller round for the bottom and one larger oval for the top.

The string is handknotted between the two making the basket. String is then attached to 3 sides to a hook for hanging.

Basket could have been used for vegetables or fruit.

Condition: item is intact and does not have holes. The string is discolored a little due to age and use. Metal is starting to rust.
