In good, used condition. The hinges and focusing wheel move well. The eyepieces rotate, though one rotates more than the other. The leather neck strap is intact but worn and is knotted near the top. The eyepiece glass seems clear, but when viewed from the large objective lenses, you can see what looks like small scratches on the ocular lenses. On the case, the shoulder strap is missing, as is the leather strip that goes through the buckle.The case fits the binoculars well, but I don\'t know if this is the original case that came with these binoculars.
The bottom of the case is stamped \"Warranteed Cowhide Leather.\" I don\'t know if the fact that this is in English means that this case did not go with these binoculars or if the case was sourced from Britain of the US before or after WWI.
