Young Man Identified Lacon, Illinois June 21, 1855 1/6 Plate Daguerreotype S867:

This daguerreotype features a handsome young gentleman with hair styled up. Written inside the case is \"William H. Crirey Lacon, Illinois June 21st, 1855\". It is difficult to read from my scan but it is much more legible in hand.
The 1/6 plate has its original or very old seals that are split in many places and have a some flakes. The half case measures about 3.25 x 3.75 inches. Most of the dust specks are on the glass and not the plate itself. There is a haziness over the plate.
