RareVintage Wedgwood Yale University 1937 CommemorativePlate - made in England. Measuresapproximately 10 5/8" inches across, and has an ivory backgroundwith blue images. Centralimagefeaturing the Wrexham Tower & Memorial Quadrangle on the Yale University campus.The back ofthis plate carries themanufacturer'smark: "Yale University -- Wrexham Tower, Memorial Quadrangle 1920 -- Wedgwood - Etruria, England -- SoleImporters - Jones, McDuffee & Stratton - Boston". The Wedgwood impressions/incisions are also present. Extremely good condition for its age - no chips, cracks, stains or repairs. Minor, light crazing (primarily on the back of the plate) is minimal and barely visible. Any reflection, distortion or shadow in the photos is the result of camera and lighting issues.
