Through the Year with World Book. Not dated, but the address on the back cover has a postal zone, which indicates it\'s pre-1963. The kids in the illustrations look like 1950\'s kids. This is a complete set of \"Monthly Service Bulletins,\" one for each month of the year. There is good information and cute illustrations. For each month there are sections/articles:
- The Story of the Month lists famous birthdays and great events
- What to Look for Outdoors for each month
- Things to Do
- Character Building
- The Year and her Children
- Mary Ellen\'s Trip Around the World
- What Do You Know, with a list of facts
It\'s fun to see, even with the condition issues. I think that the fact that some long ago kid used and enjoyed adds to the booklet\'s charm.
