This stencil is in good condition for its age. The entire stencil has a slight curve from being stored for decades, and does not sit flush with the table. Edges are worn from use and storage. Front is pretty heavily inked with signs of brush strokes slightly throughout but mostly around the outer edges of the inked area. All the stencil lettering is intact and easy to read. I will point out, in the picture with the red arrow, that in "Stockton" the stencilmaker punched an S by mistake and just punched a T overtop. On the back is the handwritten date 5/24/34.

Summary: I just acquired 2 large long file, wooden boxes of address stencils, seemingly every F W Woolworth address and lots of other local department stores and Five & Dimes from USA and Canada locations. From a factory in Pennsylvania.The seller said it was from a cast iron toy manufacturer, and it was confirmed that the stencils came from The Dent Hardware Co. in Fullerton, PA.Use to create multiple of your own local collectibles, or would look great framed, in a collection which we have an example of in the pictures. Some of our buyers use them for woodworking projects or unique gifts. The possibilities are endless.If you are looking for a specific Woolworth's or 5 and Dime type store in a certain city/town I probably have it.
