Wonderful Vintage Trinket Box~Hinged Top~VGI have cleaning out my basement...I grew up in this house...and it is packed full of all kinds of \'stuff\'.I came across this nice, old trinket box.I believe that it is a wood box wrapped in black paper with red paper inside. On the hinged lid are 4 \'oriental\' figures. I think they are hand painted.Box has (2) hinges at the top and both are in very good condition.The box does show some wear from age and storage. I have no idea when it was aquired and when it wound up living in my basement?It would have been used to keep trinkets, jewelry, hair pins etc., as it would look nice sitting on your dresser.Measures: 4 3/4\" long x 2 3/4\" wide x 1 1/2\" tallWeighs: 2.8 oz. before being packaged for shipping
