My offerings for the month of June are all original preliminary paintings, drawings and studies for final, published illustrations. All are one-of-a-kind works usually created by commercial artists at the request of a publisher or Art Director - to show them potential compositions and themes - in preparation for completing the art to be reproduced in print....could be for the cover of a book or magazine, a collector card game, calendar, print advertisement or product packaging. The art is handpainted in acrylic on illustration board, 5\" high x 6.5\" wide and is signed and dated 1999 on the back.
