This knife had been in my possession from the day I bought it in the early 70\'s. While well used it was never abused and is in terrific condition for being 60 years old. The handle is stag and the pummel I believe is Nickle/silver and the guard is brass. The tang is stamped Western over Boulder Colorado USA and the guard is stamped with 648. The knife is solid as a rock and the sheath is original to the knife. As with anything this old it could use a little clean up, polishing and sharpening. I hate to part with this knife but at my age I no longer wounder around the wilderness. This knife has been in a box with some of my other old cuterly for about ten years at least.
