Well Quilted Vintage 1890's Dahlia Medallion Antique Quilt ~UNUSUAL DESIGN:

This gorgeous cotton 1890's dahlia quilt, all hand pieced and hand quilted, with an unusual floral medallion design.It measures 62" X 92" and is excellent condition, with a couple of small, faint spots and no wear.
The hand quilting is superb, with quilting around the piecework and in close ripple, grid, straight line, and feathered designs in the background, all at an even 8-9 stitches to the inch.
The back is white, the hand stitched binding is solid red, and the batting is thin.
The UNUSUAL DESIGN, GREAT COLORS, and NICE HAND QUILTING make this late 19th century COLLECTOR'S QUILT stand out!
