Wedgwood England Minute Man Plate issued in 1975 in honor of the Bicentennial. The plate has a ridged edge, off white rim around . The center picture shows powder horns, guns, saber, pack, barrels, and lanterns all around. The center picture shows the Minute Man soldier standing on a rock and holding a long rifle. Says underneath, \"Stand your ground; Don\'t fire unless fired upon; Bit if they mean to have a war; Let it begin here.\"

The back of the plate says, \"Captain Parker, Especially designed for the Lexington Historical Society, Lexington, Massachusetts 1961\" There is a seal of the Lexington Historical Society. Also says, \"The Lexington Minuteman at the Birthplace of American Liberty April 19, 1775\" there is a Wedgwood Sea and a circle that says, \"Engraved By the Wedgwood Studios, Bicentennial Issue 1975\"

Piece measures 10.5 inches.

Excellent used vintage condition. No nicks, chips, cracks, or crazing.
