The 714 Slipstream wasdesigned by Simon Crafts, also known as ns_edgeworks on Instagram. Simon is nota knifemaker by trade or by any other form of the word. He's just an engineerextremely familiar with AutoCAD but that doesn't mean Simon doesn't know whathe's doing. The Slipstream is one of many collaborations with We Knives andeach is a unique expression of his design style. Simon's knives are simple,straightforward, and designed for work. They feature little to no unnecessaryembellishments — just a cutting edge and a comfortable handle made to get thejob done.

The compound ground,razor-sharp blade is made from CPM-S35VN stainless steel with a slight clippoint shape, thumb slot, and perfectly jimped thumb ramp. The svelte handleslides into the pocket with ease and disappears until its number is called. Theergonomic shape, chamfered edges, and ample jimping make for a supremely solid,comfortable grip. The pocket clip, backspacer, screws, pivot cap, and washersare all 6Al4V titanium for maximum quality assurance and you have a fingerchoil for fine detail work. The flipper tab is what makes this knifeinteresting and different than the norm. Its location makes it a light-switchonly opener and the tab disappears into the frame in the open position — asuperb design feature. Everything about this knife is well thought out and weare proud to present it to you as your next large everyday carry or tacticalblade.
