Walt Disney's HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME Cast Crew Only Limited Edition Cel
This recreated cel set-up is from Sequence 22. Scene 20.7 of The Hunchback of Notre Dame 1996. Quasimodo takes his first uncertain stops into the outside world. These Employee Only cels are some of the most sought after by animation art collectors. At the end of the production, employees of Disney Feature Animation were offered the chance to buy one Hand-Painted Limited Edition cel from a selection of 14 different scenes. Only 46 of this scene were ever made.
Each cel was created using original archived production artwork and were hand-painted at Disney's Ink and Paint Department located on the Disney studio lot in Burbank. The cel has a Disney Feature Animation seal on it, and comes with an official Disney Certificate of Authenticity.
