Description: This exceptionally rare Japanese Kokeshi doll was crafted by hand at the Usaburo Kokeshi factory in Japan.

From the DCP (Disney Consumer Products) Kickoff in Japan during 2013.

Appears consistent with the company\'s approach in widely using traditional Japanese Maple wood in their designs. The dolls are noted for their designs featuring unique works of art for children and collectors worldwide. The dolls are also known for the absence of arms or legs; in addition to special coatings used on the wood to prevent future cracking or discoloration.

This particular Olaf kokeshi doll was officially licensed by Disney for exclusive distribution to the cast and crew of Disney\'s Frozen (2013). The dolls were provided to cast and crew in preparation for the worldwide success of the most popular film release of 2013. Branded on the reverse side of the piece is the Disney copyright mark and the phrase \"NOT FOR SALE\" (never distributed through retail outlets). Available only on the secondary market and from the personal collections of the crew members who originally received them.

Includes original Usaburo authentication sticker on bottom of piece; noted \"Made in Japan.\"
