This WWII period military badge or brooch was issued for personnelof the Royal Army Service Corps (R.A.S.C.) and features bright opal blue,scarlet red and royal blue enamel work set onto a marked silver badge/brooch.It measures approx. 4cm x 2.5cm and weighs 5.57g

R.A.S.C. - The Royal Army Service Corps (RASC) wasthe corps of the British Army responsible for land, coastal and lake transport,air despatch, barracks administration, the Army Fire Service, staffingheadquarters’ units, supply of food, water, fuel and domestic materials such asclothing, furniture and stationery and the supply of technical and militaryequipment. The exceptions were weaponry and ammunition, which were supplied bythe Royal Army Ordnance Corps.
