Some info about the collection from which thisnegative was found.

This negative was found in a large collection ofnegatives. The names and notes writtenon the negative boxes and the negatives themselves have helped me identify the mostprobable source of these negatives. Asfar as my research can tell, this negative came from the Blaker Studio Royalin Manhattan Kansas which closed in the year 2000. The photographer appears to be Tony Wichersfrom Topeka, Kansas. Apparently, he filledin while one of the owners, Laurence W. Blaker (wife Dorothy other owner), servedin the Signal Corps Photography Combat Unit from 1943 to 1945. Given the number of military bases in thearea, this studio appeared to do a significant number of portraits for militarypersonnel.
