These were issued to my father at the end of WW2. They show no signs of ever being worn and still have the blousing draw strings knotted around a belt loop. They were probably never worn because weighing 117 pounds when enlisting, his waist was likely much smaller than 32 inches. I have his P44 shirt (he wore that...also being listed) and it is a size 36. For the last 60 years, they were always stored inside in a climate controlled closet.Actual condition. I have looked over the pants carefully and the only flaw that I have noticed is a small stain by a belt loop on the front of the pants. Looks to be a rust stain. No attempt has been made to clean the spot. The stain is small and would be covered if wearing a belt. You can see it in the pictures. All buttons are present and are the USMC "donut" buttons. They have no rust on them. There is the stamping from when they were made on the inside of the pants. Waist is 32 inches and I measured the inseam at 30 inches. They were never re-hemmed.The color is bright and not faded. You will probably never find another pair in this condition. I have set the price high because I have had little luck trying to fix a price for one in this condition. There is one that shows up in past sells that was apparently sold for the same price that was not in quite as good condition. I will consider all serious offers. Shipping will be insured and tracked.
