WWII USMC KA-BAR RED SPACER FIGHTING KNIFE - REBLUED BLADE. One of the more desirable U. S. fighting knives of WWII is the USMC red spacer KA-BAR. Not very many were made, and because of its blued blade and other blued metal parts, it did not fair well in the hot, humid conditions of the Southwest Pacific island campaigns. As a result many came back rusted with missing spacers and broken off pommels. As shown by the photos, I have restored this KA-BAR by just hot-bluing the blade. No other restoration work was required. So, except for its re-blued blade, all of this fine, rare USMC KA-BAR fighting knife is in its original condition. Sorry, there is no sheath.
