This is an original NOS WWII US Army match safe in the original box. This is for keeping your stick matches dry. They have a striker pad under the lid and at one time one on the bottom. (it has turned to dust over time) The box is very dusty from long term storage and the case on the inside will be very dusty as well. You can see in the pictures how dusty it all is. Don't miss a very rare 1944 dated original.
