100% genuine signature of WWII fighter pilot Capt. Eugene Cole, USAF (1917-1986). Cole served with the 375th FS/ 361st FG in the ETO during WWII. He was credited with destroying 2 enemy planes. Cole was shot down a month before the war ended and finished it out as a POW. His combat awards include the DFC, POW Medal, and the Air Medal. Cole did not sign much. Very scarce signature.
I've been collecting military signatures for well over 50 years. This is a signed white 3x5 card out of my personal accumulations. Piece is in good condition with normal signs of age, toning, and gentle fading to the ink.
