WWII British Cap Comforter (1943):

This is an original cap comforter. There are several tiny holes on one fold line, which can be repaired if you are daring and skilled enough, or hire someone. Check photos carefully for details.
I can barely make out the markings 1943 on one side of the cap.
I recommend not wearing this under a steel helmet as the old wool looks a little fragile.
