The AN-6513 was the the most widely issued parachute harness for WWII B-17 bomber crews. This replica is built by \"The Rigger Depot\" company, the same team who build them for the Masters of the Air series. The Rigger Depot supplied over 800 items for Masters of the Air - everything from parachutes to flak vests, kit bags to stunt gear and much more.
Built with custom woven harness webbing and 7-class stitching, this reproduction is faithfully copied from the original patterns. Just like the ones we made for MOTA, this uses original adjustment buckles and rings, and sewn on original WWII machines. No detail is overlooked, from the hand-tacked shoulder connector, to the custom dyed aeronautical canvas, and genuine USA Scovill snap fasteners.Complete with all part, date, and manufacturer stamped markings.100% Made In USA.
This harness has the Hayes manufacturing stamp, as used by offerdick\'s harness in the series. This harness has light weathering/aging applied to make the harness appear slightly used. If you prefer your harness \"clean\" without any weathering applied, please message beforehand. If over 6 foot or 200 pounds, a slightly enlarged harness is suggested.
