This is an original Arm Band that would have been worn by a base security MP.

It is yellow with black stenciled lettering: ORLANDO AIR BASE

It measures 4 3/4 ‘ x 18”

It  is made out of  a cotton or felt material stitched around the border. Cotton loop on end with safety pin.

Over the years names have changed from Orlando Army Air Base, Pinecastle Army Air base, Pinecastley Airforce Base. McCoy Airforce base. Orlando Airport

Orlando Air Base was in existence for 1940 to 1943.
