Antique National Guard Medal, Front part marked, \"OUR COUNTRYS DEFENDERS\", The back is marked, \"RAID COLUMBUS N.M. MICH 9TH/ GLENN SPRINGS TEX. MAY 6TH. ST. IGNACIO TEX JUNE 14TH. NATIONAL GUARD CALLED TO THE COLORSJUNE 18TH. AMBUSH AT CARRAZIL MEX. JUNE 21ST. /(Company hallmarks) M.J. MARSTON BROOKLYN N.Y.\". These were raids in 1916 and great historical events. These battles were fought with Villistas, who were part of Pancho Villas Soldiers. Shows age patina, wear, the ribbon is tearing/frayed with fading. Has a pin-back. See photos.
