Here is a rare, poignant,World War I US Home Front Post Card. It was posted to an address in Lewiston, Maine. The beautiful artwork in color depicts a home flying a large In Service Flag. The sentiment is written in French. The stamp is missing. It is dated September 30, 1918 on the eve of the big push in the Argonne Forest. The card itself is at least 105 years old and in about fair condition.
