Here is a rare, patriotic,World War I US Army Post Card. It depicts a color drawing of US Army AEF Doughboy bringing home a slain German Soldier. In addition to the patriotic sense of Victory, it works in propaganda by marginalizing the Imperial German Soldier, who actually was a quite skilled, veteran opponent who fought on against the odds. It was never posted. The artwork is striking with the Doughboy in field uniform with Rifle and Fixed Bayonet, and a doll sized fallen German Soldier. It is artist signed. The card itself is at least 105 years old and in about fair condition.
