YES, I WILL GUARANTEE IT, OR YOUR MONEY BACK. If you actually have a 17 inch blade on a M1917 bayonet, the scabbard may be 2.5mm too short. (FYI, I\'ve never seen a blade longer than 16 28/32 long).

*NEW NOTES 4-7-24-PLEASE READ-This scabbard may have surface rust. I am using a more powerful gun blue and I guess sitting in the mail for a week brings out more rust. I will include a piece of steel wool to clean it, if you don\'t like that look. Or you can wipe it with WD-40 or gun oil, etc to remove the rust. Please don\'t be shocked if there is rust. IT IS JUST PART OF THE AGING PROCESS I AM TRYING TO CREATE. Also oil on the leather makes it look darker, and older in my opinion. Try it if you get creative.
Also, I know these are not cheap! My cost for the India item has gone up(but they are so well made!) Also I can only find them available on IMA website now. I just am trying to produce them for a reasonable profit...to keep me motivated. I know how scarce the real ones are. Isn\'t it crazy how few REAL scabbards survived!
