sale is for a reproduction US 1918 combat knife, this has a solid brass handle, marked US 1918. Has the pointed skull crusher pommel. I believe this is a copy of the French pattern of this knife. The blade is carbon steel with a slight edge, no bends or nicks and measures 6 3/4 inches long. No markings on the blade. This was a re-enactors knife, the tip of the brass quillon on the guard broke, and the guy re-ground it. The black painted steel scabbard is the French type, based on their Avenger knife. Knife has a nice tight fit to scabbard, no looseness or wiggle to it. Free shipping for US buyers.
