This is for one Reproduction WWI GermanBrunswick War Merit Cross 1st Class.
The Duchy of Brunswick first established this award on October 23rd 1914. Then onMarch 20th of 1918, a first class of the Cross was created in pin back form, with the existing Cross becoming the second class. This brought the Cross in line with awards of other German States like Prussia with the Iron Cross.

The picture shows the front and back. Each one will come with clutch back fasteners.
