This is for a used & vintage and brand Plain DARK BROWN Leather gun holster

Marked on the front with the US oval logo; it is marked on the back with partly readable maker mark

This is all original, tho well worn, M1909 Pattern, half flap style, made with heavy brown, well oiled leather. The seam is rounded & finished, trigger guard welted. It has a belt loop for a wide belt up to 4\".

3 copper rivets reinforce the belt loop. The toe has a plugged muzzle, with a lanyard ring

This holster was the standard issued for the US ARMY in WWI and WWII, however I think this one is WWI or earlier issue.

These holsters were issued to US Soldiers for their Sidearms

Not sure if this is a LEFT hand Cavalry style draw or if this is a RIGHT HAND HOLSTER
