- Will combine shipping for multiple purchasesHere is aWorld War I US Army Studio Portrait. The photo depicts the profile of a young Officer. His single bar appears to be that of a 1st Lieutenant. He has the Crossed Cannons of the Field Artillery and USR (United States Reserves) on his color. He has an aristocratic look. The writing on the back implies the photo was found in 1933 but taken Wartime circa 1918. For the decent bit of penciled documentation, it is curious the officer was not named. Perhaps he was killed in action, or was a former beau of whomever first had the photo. The Photo was removed from a sleeve holder. It is black and white, with a flat tone. The details are decent. The Photo is 104 years old in fair condition.
