A Marine Corps Special Duty Pass for Cpl Fleming at Co. M Army Headquarters, U.S. Marine Guard in Nantes France. He was authorized to be absent from his command on duty looking for an escaped prisoner. Signed by an officer in the USMC. This paper is adhered to the pay booklet cover and has tears.

Soldier\'s Individual Pay Book for members of the A.E.F. (American Expeditionary Force). This shows Mr. Flemming started as a Private, and was appointed as a Corporal.
