It depicts a sailor standing next to Columbia, they are both looking off into the horizon \"Over There\" as Columbia points. Behind the pair is a scene of a stormy sea and ships. A wonderful combination of patriotic and naval imagery. Considered the most beautiful of all WWI recruiting posters, itwas in very fine condition prior to archivally mounting on linen for preservation. Also of note, this is one of the largest American WWI posters created.This poster rarely comes up at sales and is frequently in poor condition due its size.
