1945 Journal Documents his stationing to Hawaii - These journals are just a check list of what he did every day. You get way more information about his dating life than the condition of Hawaii or the war.1946 - Journal he left duty (he was in the reserves) - he returns home to Akron,OH1942-1943 Field notes Book is surveying work1948 Journal - I didn\'t read much of this one.1944 - Blue Jackets Manual is in pretty good condition considering age.1908 & 1913 Ledgers must be from his Grandfather given the time span? Possibly his father but the years don\'t add up. His father\'s name was George & the name in the ledgers is George. These have no WW2 connection, but they are connected to the family.
All these books were bought at a local estate sale in Akron, OH. I collect old books, these are not usually what I collect, but was compelled to pick them up. All these book belonged to Ralph J Rohner. I looked over the journals and realized they belong with a WW2 collector. I\'m selling them as a set since they all belonged to the same person. I found an obituary for his wife (I think). His journals have him dating someone named Rita in 1948 & that was his wife\'s name?
