For sale is this size 38L WW2 US Army wool overcoat. The coat features plastic buttons with the Army seal on them and an inside flap button to secure the flap meaning this is a 1944-45 model. The tag under the inner lining is worn away. It appears at some point that someone tried to alter the arm lengths and remove the epaulets, and so the seams at the shoulders and at the cuffs are redone. The arms are different lengths and are poorly hemmed-this would need work from a tailor or amateur seamster to bring it back to a wearable condition, but the wool is in excellent shape so it could be done! The epaulet buttons are missing.
