An original WW2 Japanese Type 96/99 LMG scope 2.5 x 13 with serial number. This scope has the original paint. The rubber eye cup is dry and deformed. There is a Japanese cartouche inside the mounting rail with a Japanese character inside a circle. The optics are clear and the range finder and sighting rings are clear except there is some debris inside the scope that can be seen in the last picture. The mounting screw and locking lever function as they should. The objective end opening shade has a small dent that can be seen in picture# 2. The paint has some small chips, but is mostly intact with 75%+ remaining. The majority of the paint is missing from the rail attachment area. Overall condition is good.
