This is an unopened Type II 4 oz bar of soap, originally issued to US soldiers during World War II. The wax wrapper is still intact, and the soap inside is in excellent condition.The soap is an original period item. It was a small bar used to be carried in the Gi\'s ditty bag or pack. The men would wash out of a helmet so the size of this bar was great for use! It can lather in soft, hard, Or sea water! Great for that reenacting event near the lake or ocean.
